Wesley Willis James Deer An Experienced Marketing Solutions Engineer (Yeah that sounds waayyy more professional)

I have a wide range of web development and design experience and a history of longevity to back it. I am passionate about user experience design and discovering/developing efficient maintainable development solutions. I have always had a fantastic relationship with my clients and fellow collegues alike. I have worked on an extensive variety of projects ranging from full marketing automation campaigns to ecommerce/fulfillment, digital asset and content management systems.

I am seeking new opportunities in the areas of web application development and design. I am passionate about learning new skills and welcome the opportunity to dive in head first!

    January 2017 - October 2018
    Development Solutions Manager
    Responsible for the planning, prototyping, design, development, deployment, and managing hosting environment for web applications and marketing automation campaigns.
    Bitstorm Connect is the current evolution of Think Patented's "Integrated Solutions" department and as the senior development lead, I have had a specific focus on the management of our team's development standards and empowering our talented team with advanced modern techniques. I am responsible for the development/administration of our streamlined hosting environments and application deployment process. Additionally, I manage our marketing campaign initiatives, web application projects, and much much more!

    Web Innovations Supervisor
    Leading a team of developers, interfacing with clients, developing and maintaing development standards and processes, and coordinating with other departments to deliver a wide range of cross-media marketing solutions.
    I co-founded the "Integrated Solutions" department at Think Patented which was responsible for a new vertical in web development marketing services. Responsible for the hiring/supervision of a team of developers/designers, managing various projects, collaborating with other departments, and the development of integrations between systems I administered.

    Responsible for the development of client websites, design of marketing materials, and client/vendor interfacing.
    In the first dive into my career I worked on a small team as the sole web developer and graphic designer under the fantastic guidance of John Finley. I was set loose to manage many projects, coordinated with vendors and freelancers and anything necessary to get the job done.

    Extensive study of design practices and principles throughout multimedia, including Print, Web, Illustration, Brand & Identity Systems, Photography, and Video.
    While also working full-time, I obtained my degree (along with various certificates) mostly through night classes! Woot!
